On October 29th Lucia Varbaro received the Master degree in Physics cum laude from the University of Genova with a thesis entitled “Study of micro-resonators applied to magnetometry”. Congratulations to Lucia!

 

Call for PhD position at the University of Chieti-Pescara

A call for an OXiNEMS PhD student has been launched at UdA. The topic of the research program is  "Methods for the characterization and validation of an innovative device, based on nanoelectromechanical sensors, for the measurement of magnetic fields generated by biological tissues". The PhD student will participate to the project activities and interact with the other partners of the project.

The scholarship is comprised in the multidisciplinary PhD course in Neuroscience and Imaging. The students background should be Physics or Engineering.  The scholarship is about 15300 Euro/year including taxes, resulting in about 1100 Euro/month excluding taxes.

The 3rd OXiNEMS project meeting took place on April 22nd and 23rd in a web-based format. Participants from all the OXiNEMS units discussed the recent results on the project activities and attended the exploitation workshop run by META Group, working together on the topic of identifying and characterizing Key Exploitable Results coming from the project.

Simone CuccurulloSimone Cuccurullo received the Master degree diploma in Physical Engineering at Politecnico di Milano with a thesis work on new magnetometers combining MEMS and magnetic elements. 
This is the first Master thesis of the OXiNEMS project, congratulations to Simone!
